Management:
We act as the client’s direct representative on the site. This involves the following activities:
- Making specific technical decisions in consultation with the client
- Organising and chairing periodic site meetings
- Writing minutes and reporting on the site meetings
- etc.
Construction supervision:
We have years of expertise and a number of tools for implementing and supervising the following activities:
- Surveying and staking out
- Soil surveys (sampling and exploratory drilling)
- Groundwater monitoring
- Setting up and opening work areas
- Digging trial trenches and comparing the actual and theoretical positions of underground infrastructure
- Checking pipeline manipulations (moving pipeline sections, overbends, etc.)
- Supporting cathodic protection work
- Testing pipeline systems in accordance with statutory provisions (resistance test, leakproofness test, etc.)
- Implementing and checking rheology (= monitoring the properties of drilling fluids)
- Checking submitted calculation notes and work methods descriptions
- Site restoration after completion
Keeping an as-built file
- Taking as-built measurements using a GPS surveying device
- Structuring relevant file documents
- Reporting on ITPs (inspection test plans)
